Although the Spring bear hunt officially starts April 15th, my first hunt
is in the middle of May. The reason for this is too much snow in the
woods for proper baiting and alot of bears are not out of their dens.
With a limit of 6 hunters/week, approximately 30 sites are maintained. These
baits are started three weeks prior to the hunt and re-baited daily. All
baits are located within 20 miles radius of the camps. I encourage the
hunter who has a four wheeler to bring it along. Transportation is the
responsibility of the client, unless previous arrangements have been
made with the outfitter.
FALL DEER SEASON
Whitetail deer are generally hunted in mixtures of hardwood-softwood stands with
occasional cedar swamps. A 225 lb. field dressed deer is not an uncommon kill. Bucks only is in effect throughout the province.
Limit of 6 hunters/week are accommodated. Transportation is the responsibility of the
client, unless previous arrangements have been made.
All rates are quoted without the license fee, and are in US currency. A deposit of 50% of
your total price is required for confirmation, with the balance paid on arrival by cash or
certified cheque.
MOOSE SEASON
Upon booking a hunt, whether it's deer, bear or coyote, clients will receive a
moose application. If successful in the draw, the hunter will be eligible for a FREE hunt.
COYOTE SEASON
Limit of 4-6 hunters/week. This hunt is done over bait/and with the use of predator calls. The
coyote hunt can be combined with an ATV package.
MIGRATORY & UPLAND BIRD SEASON
This hunt is done in grain and corn fields. A combination black bear/goose and duck hunt is
available in the Fall.
